Due to me doing this on the side while working my regular job I have been pretty slow on these request and I would like to thank everyone for their patience. This art was requested by skillzilla he provided the stock pics and idea I worked the photoshop magic. I’m quite proud of this one and since he’s a local I get to see the finished product often. He wanted the effect to be the drawings scattered about and the majority of the art were pencil sketches however the magneto picture and the g.i. joe picture were both fully finished which meant I had to give them the illusions of being finished.  Thanks to a tutorial I found on the interwebs skillzilla was really happy with the results as was I. See below for pics of not only the art but the finished product.

The design is in my mind overly simple but the client liked it and that’s what matters lol. Keeping in with the fall theme I used some orange, brown, and yellows all taken from pictures of the Colorado leaves in autumn. I made a kids and adult ticket using different colors to show the difference between days. With the adult tickets I focused on elegance using a thinner script like font using a stock photograph of a Colorado forest for the background. While on the kids side I focused on thanksgiving and the food involved. I have lots of ideas even now for tickets I would have liked more and hopefully I’ll get the chance to implement them in the future for now I would like to just thank the PCC Culinary Arts program for allowing me to get much needed real world client and design experience.

While I hate the cold, I can’t deny I love the fashion; cardigans, v neck sweaters, and pea coats being my ultimate vices for the season. I made a post once upon a time about the down vest, and in the not too cold weather it’s another layer that adds warmth without adding weight. This brings me to  point, steal this look from Kanye West like I have and be cool even three years later.

I need to remake the apparel picture section so that will be up shortly. I am now updating my About Me. While I changed, my information and picture did not. Time for some new new in that department expect that to be back up by the beginning of the week while I choose new pictures, new icons, and new words.  Look forward to it :)

This is another lose your life type site in the vein of YouTube or Cracked.  You click on one picture and go from one to another for the next few hours till you realize you have a deadline to meet. I’m also on my portfolio grind. Trying to up my skill and get some pieces so I can get my foot in the door of the design world. BUT THAT’S NOT WHAT WE’RE HERE, FOR TODAY MY CARDS FROM MOO ARRIVED AND HERE THEY BE!

I held off so long on making business cards because I  wasn’t sure on what my path would be. Now with these cards and recently (very recently) registering Techmode Productions as a business, I’m hitting the ground running. I went with the qr code  because as I’ve posted before I love the look and they’re so mysterious. You see one and you just want to whip out your phone and scan it. If you’re seeing this post because of the codes HI \(O_O)7. As to the robo face I didn’t think the regular robot face would work, I came up with this simplified version some time ago and when I put it on the card it just made so much sense. So far my friends like them, but for all I know they’re lying to me. Tell me honestly what you think of the new cards in the comments or @True_Tech on twitter. Later guys I’m going to go make it rain business cards.

All art is copyrighted by their respective owners, this was all done for free so don’t sue me plz :). Some of these are unfinished, others are just rough ideas thrown together. You can see something of the evolution of my style in these works though. Early stuff has one focal point, relying mostly on the main art piece to attract the eye. While later newer stuff has a focus on composition and more complex backgrounds. Give me your thoughts.

Thanks to being on unemployment almost the entirety of 2010 I haven’t been in school. Now working full time, I have almost no time to work on anything. However I made this in December. It started purely as an reaction to all my work being more or less digital. Sure I’ve had work done for school or for people’s joysticks but that can change on a whelm. I haven’t produced any work I’ve done that i can hang on my wall. That single thought lead me to create this design in illustrator. At the time I was really feeling simple shapes in illustrative designs. I hope to get this made and hanging up next to other art I own such as Nubby Twiglet’s kiss me deeply print. Just some real work that I’ve done for me that I can always look at and remember that I’m creative. Techmode Skateboard Deck Design
